After learning there was more than one Heather Baum licensed for massage in Illinois, I began using my middle initial.  

Heather is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and a prior member of the American Massage Therapy Association with over 11 years of massage studies and working with clients with various aches and ailments.  I customize client sessions to meet their individual needs and limitations.  Client’s range from Children to Seniors, have included Recreational Athletes to Professional and Olympic Gold Medalists.  I have worked with clients with minor to chronic health problems, rehabilitating from injuries or focused on special health conditions. I enjoy introducing the benefits of massage to others and stressing the importance of including massage in an overall wellness program. 

My Background

My interest in massage therapy began back in 1991 when I sustained an injury.  I tried countless treatments and discovered that massage provided me the relief I so desperately sought.  As a result of my personal experiences, I feel that I can aid clients in their recovery process and offer a caring and compassionate approach. 

Everyone's reasons for turning to massage are unique, therefore I customize every treatment to meet each client's specific needs.
